What are things that are uniquely Californian that I could put in a gift basket?

I’m from California and have lived here all of my life, but for some reason I can’t think of anything good. I have a German exchange student coming to visit and I want to make her a basket with things that are native or unique to California. You don’t have to be from California to have great ideas either!     An exchange student good luck.
    My whole life too most things here so nothing is truly uniquely californian oh get one of much more id say wine but you said this was an exchange student.

    raisons, fresh fruit and a 2nd seatbelt and helmet, if you plan to take him(her) on the road.

    Why don’t you give her a beach bag with a beach towel in it and other beach must-haves like sunscreen and everything. You might want to add in some raisins too to achieve that all Californian theme. You could find other great gift ideas here:
