Is it cheaper to make your own gift basket as compared to buying one?

If I buy a gift basket and gift wrap from the dollar store, and buy some bath and body products from a local warehouse sale (which is good quality) will it be cheaper than buying a ready made basket?

I think buying one is cheaper, because making your own can waste of time and waste of money.
If you are getting your materials discounted, you will end up paying less and getting more. Many people would probably choose to make their own if they had the time. Go for it!
